What can "A Bug's Life" teach us about collective activism? Can Princess Leia bring more women to the resistance? Will Swifties save democracy? In this age of political upheaval and climate collapse we need more people willing to act – how can our favorite comics, books, films and series inspire and motivate us? We'll give you an overview of how to creatively use fandom in your activism for topics like LGBTQIA2S+ rights, racial justice, intersectional feminism, environmental justice/sustainability, and education reform. And together we'll build a list of media that address these topics and more.
